Public Cloud

Users can use whatever resources they need using web consoles and APIs, however, don't have control over the infrastructure. Therefore, there exist risks as the customer of the public cloud. 1. Data sovereignty compliance It's critical for companies to be compliant with data sovereignty regulation governing the storage, transfer, and security of data. 2. Security Data loss, account hacking, and more. Possible use cases 1. Disaster recovery, data protection, and business continuity Lots of organizations are using public clouds to build secondary infrastructure just in case of the above reasons. 2. Reducing time-to-market for products and services Cloud-based applications & platforms free up internal IT teams to focus on building and testing their products.

Private Cloud

For a single organization Internal Infrastructure: On-premies; owned and managed by the organization. On-premise? 기업이 서버를 클라우드 환경이 아닌 자체 설비로 보유/운영하는것. External Infrastructure: owned, managed and operated by the service provider. An example of an external private cloud platform is VPC. Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) An external cloud that offsets a private, secure, computing environment in a shared public cloud. When the platform is provisioned over a logically isolated part of a cloud provider's public infrastructure and is owned, managed, and operated by the service provider.

Hybrid Cloud

Hybrid cloud is interoperable because the public and private cloud services can understand each other's APIs, configuration, data formats, and forms of authentication and authorization. Therefore, it gives the flexibility to move workloads freely between the public and private clouds as needs change. "Cloud Bursting" 클라우드 포화상태가 일어났을 때, recourses를 public cloud에서 가져와 사용 할 수 있다.
